Our guilds on the Mind Trick server are raid focused, very casual, community driven, and open to anyone mature. As our guilds grow and continue to obtain more characters into the higher levels, we will begin organizing scheduled raid groups. Don't miss out! About True Galaxies
True Galaxies was first launched in June of 2006 to run a "true" SWG Pre-CU emulator. There were to be no changes from the Pre-CU that everyone knew and mostly loved. We quickly started to grow and within three to four months had well over 1,000 members, and added two other directors, Wenulab and Avoli, to help handle both the organizational and financial tasks that laid ahead.
From June 2006, TG has had its ups and downs. There have been four forum wipes, where literally hundreds of thousands of posts and tens of thousands of members were deleted. Each time our total user count never did reach what we first had. We have also lost directors and have had new leaders take the reigns. We however persevere, and we continue on to this day hoping that one day we will finally have an SWG Emulator server to run with the ideals that make up the foundation of True Galaxies.
Over the 6+ years, True Galaxies has also become one of the best general internet and gaming communities around. When you have waited for so long together, friendships are born and an awesome community starts to form. Many of our "founding" members, that were here in 2006, are still here today. While the community isn't as active as it once was, most of our core group of members still check in every couple of days.
New members to the community have always been welcomed as well. We have always been, and still are, very welcoming to people who just want to hang out and become part of a great group of people. While many people here are Star Wars fans, waiting for the Star Wars Galaxies Pre-CU emulator server, we also have people interested in SW: TOR, MineCraft, and general gaming.
In October of 2011, we suffered our 4th, and final, "wipe"and restart. A new leadership team also emerged. While we are still committed to an SWG Emulator server for our community, we are also exploring different paths as well. True Galaxies currently has an active MineCraft server and is planning to have a Star Wars: The Old Republic guild. It is our new goal to expand True Galaxies to new areas, and re-grow this community into one hell of an online gaming community while keeping true to our original ideals.
